How to Pass First Time

Preparing for your practical driving test can feel overwhelming, but with the right preparation and mindset, you can significantly increase your chances of passing first time. At JDS Driver Training, we prepare learners for tests in Greenham, Swindon and Oxford, ensuring you feel calm, confident and fully prepared on test day.

 

🚗 1. Know the Show Me, Tell Me Questions

At the start of your test, the examiner will ask vehicle safety questions.Make sure you can confidently answer spome of these examples:

  • How to check tyre pressure

  • How to check engine oil level

  • How to demist the windscreen

 

These are easy marks — don’t lose them.

 

🧠 2. Stay Calm – It’s a Safe Drive, Not a Perfect Drive Many learners fail because nerves cause rushed decisions.
